Quadriptych: Fragments From Our Industrial Past

This piece includes salvaged bits of metal most likely produced during the Industrial Revolution, a period of significant technological and economic transformation, starting in Britain in the late 18th century, that transitioned societies from agrarian to industrialized, urban ones, characterized by mass production. Hinges and machine parts, standing the test of time and showing their beautiful, rusty patina within the organic hand cut stone and connected by a line of sodalite.
