Solving math problems was never my strong suit. But the idea of numbers, theorems, equations and geometry were fascinating to me nonetheless. The very look of numbers, the shapes, the ideas I could understand and those I could not, were compelling in and of themselves. This mosaic is how "solving for x" looked to me growing up, a concept to figure out, full of mysteries.
