Part of a series on shells, 'Shell Taxonomy' presents shells and shell fragments in a straightforward way that highlights their beauty. These shells might not be considered anything special, but assembled into this mosaic I wanted to remind us of how these objects are worthy of further examination. And I love the wavy look of the frame, a thrift shop find, and how it complements the motif.
